Opportunities

ALPHA IN SCHOOLS

Alpha is a program that goes through the basics of the Christian faith through an 11 week video series. Young people join us in our centre in Mullingar to journey through this program combined with food and games. It’s an unforgettable experience!

Mondays: 10:30-12:30

Tuesdays: 11:00-13:00

Thursdays: 11:00-13:00

NOMAD CAGE SOCCER

Nomad is a sports programme from Youth for Christ Ireland that uses a portable soccer cage, panna-knockout rules and a team of passionate young interns who promote positive values and engage young people in faith conversations on their turf, throughout the Republic of Ireland.

You can sign-up to join our team and be contacted by our team leader any time events are happening.

We’re committed to empowering parishes and churches across Ireland to continue ongoing faith formation with their young people.

THE UPPER ROOM DROP-IN

The Upper Room is an after school youth drop-in centre for young people right in the middle of Mullingar town. It’s a space for young people to belong, to gather with friends and meet new ones.

Fridays: 14.00-16.30

Youth for Christ Ireland have begun to work in Sligo and while the work is at the beginning stages we would be delighted to hear from you if you would like to help out and volunteer with any upcoming projects.
